VINAFOR SAIGON JCO is a joint stock company from state-run
company under the name VINAFOR SAIGON, whose former name was
Vietnam National Forest Products Export-Import Production and Service
Corporation III (NAFORIMEX III) has been trading since 1975, a member of Vietnam Forest Corporation.

:: TIMBER AND ROUND LOG BUSINESS
+ Timber
Starting from beginning of 2003, our imported quantity is at
25,000 m3 sawn Pine timber from New Zealand, Finland and Australia to supply for
the local manufacturers.
+ Round log
Since 2001, we have imported round log(Mixed hardwood,
Keruing, Kapur, Yelow Balau, Solosor, Mersawa ...) from Malaysia to consume in
Mekong Delta (mainly An Giang province) and some provinces in the South. The
average volume of each year is at 60,000 m3.
:: FURNITURE INDUSTRY
To be the manufacturer, we have 03 enterprises located in 03 processing areas:
1) MY NGUYEN EXPORT FOREST PRODUCTS PROCESSING ENTERPRISE
Specialized in: Outdoor furniture (wood and wood combining
with aluminium and textiline)
2) LONG BINH TAN EXPORT WOOD PROCESSING ENTERPRISE
Specialized in: Wooden Indoor & Outdoor furniture .
3) GIA HAN FACTORY (ASSOCIATE CO. )
Factory: Hoa Hoi Hamlet, Cat Hanh Commune, Phu Cat District,
Binh Dinh Province, Vietnam.
Specialized in: Outdoor furniture (wood and wood combining
with aluminium and textiline)
Total plant area: 120,000 sqm with over 1,500 employees and advanced
engineering, our monthly capacity is around 90x40' containers depending on the
models and wood requirement in production. We enforce wholly quality control
through every aspect of the manufacturing process ensuring that our strict
standards are met. From the design, the selection of materials, the moisture
content through the precisely manufactured finished product, quality is our
first priority.
Having been establishing good business relations with the wood suppliers, we
always gain initiative in raw material sources. Moreover, our plan is to import
wood every season ensuring that our customers will always get stable price
throughout season despite the fluctuation of price in material market.
FSC CERTIFICATES:
A majority of our wood products comes from the sustainable,
well-managed forests, certified by Forest Stewardship Council. The FSC label on
products allows the clients to trace back the origin of our FSC furniture. Since
2000, FSC wood is our recommendation. Our FSC certificate code is SGS COC -
1476, SGS-COC-1667 and SGS COC - 1891.
ISO CERTIFICATES:
Quality is our life. Not only to satisfy the clients
requirements but also to lay the foundation for our firm development. Our
quality management system allows you to trust in our quality of products. Our
ISO certificate code is 00273-2007-AQ-SNG-UKAS.
:: SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Fair trading:
Mutual cooperation between VINAFOR SAIGON Jco and our
partners is open-minded, fair, and integrated in contract terms. Bribes and
similar forms are not allowed in any circumstances.
Child labour:
The age of employees shall not be lower than the age for
completing compulsory education, and usually not lower than 15 years.
Forced labour:
Employment of forced labour is prohibited, and
employees shall not be kept in locked premises nor shall their freedom be
restricted in any other way.
Discrimination
Discrimination against any employee in respect of
race, colour, sex, religion, political opinion, social origin or corresponding
reason is not accepted.
Terms of employment
Employees shall be paid at least the minimum legal
wage or a wage that is specified in a collective labour agreement that is
binding on the employer, whichever is greater. Wages shall be paid direct to the
employees.
Terms of employment: The regular working hours shall not
exceed 48 hours and overtime 04 hours per day. Higher wage rates shall be
applied to overtime. Wages shall be paid direct to the employees.
:: ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY
Environmental protection is one of the highest
priorities in modern society. It requires the co-operation of all parties
involved in operations related to a product's life cycle. Therefore, we take
into consideration the environmental effects of a product's entire life cycle,
in addition to its price and quality.
:: PRODUCT SAFETY
The quality assurance is based on the self-control
plan to ensure the safety and high quality of the products with sensory,
chemical and physical determinations including checking the correctness of
specifications, label texts as well as our self inspection of incoming material,
in-process and finishing.
